Edition 2025 — San Rocco Feast

In the summer of 2025, Mozzagrogna renewed its San Rocco Patronal Feast around August 16th, the patron saint's day. The community of the small town in the province of Chieti gathered for religious celebrations, the procession of the ancient statue of the saint, and traditional evenings of shows, light displays, and fireworks in Piazza San Rocco.

The 2025 San Rocco Feast in Mozzagrogna

In 2025, the San Rocco Patronal Feast once again represented the highlight of the summer in Mozzagrogna, in the province of Chieti. Around August 16th, the day of the patron saint, the town experienced the customary procession of the ancient 16th-century statue—adorned according to tradition with jewelry and ex-votos, a testament to Abruzzese goldsmithing—alongside religious celebrations organized by the community.

In Piazza San Rocco, civil festivities took place with music, shows, and entertainment for all ages, accompanied by the town's light displays and the traditional fireworks that concluded the celebrations.
