San Rocco Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition

On Saturday, August 16th, 2025, Gavignano experienced its most heartfelt day of the year. The coincidence with the weekend brought a larger number of visitors and locals who returned for the mid-August holiday, with particularly high participation in the celebrations in honor of San Rocco.

As per tradition, the day alternated between the devotional dimension—masses and the procession of the patron's statue through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the band—and the convivial one, with the evening party in the square and the final fireworks display. The event was part of the Estate Gavignanese 2025 program, the festival promoted by the Municipality of Gavignano together with the Pro Loco and local associations, which also offered the Sagra dei Maccaruni Gavignanesi and various musical and cultural evenings in the village during August.
