Edition 2025 — San Rocco
The 2025 edition of the San Rocco Festival in San Pier Niceto took place from August 10 to 17, featuring a week full of music and tradition. Highlights of the lineup included: Sudcantica with violinist Wouter Vandenabeele (August 13), Galattike with a pop concert (August 14), the briscola tournament in Piazza San Rocco on Ferragosto, and the grand show by Nino Frassica with the Los Plaggers Band (August 16). The grand finale on August 17 featured the procession, the Maestro Nastasi band concert, and fireworks.
San Rocco Festival 2025
The 2025 edition of the San Rocco Festival in San Pier Niceto (ME) took place from August 10 to 17, enlivening Piazza San Rocco and the town streets for a full week. The program intertwined folk music, pop shows, and major attractions.
- August 13: Sudcantica in concert with Belgian violinist Wouter Vandenabeele, dedicated to the folk music of Southern Italy.
- August 14: Galattike with a pop music concert.
- August 15 (Ferragosto): Briscola tournament in Piazza San Rocco with prizes.
- August 16: Main show at 9:30 PM with Nino Frassica and the Los Plaggers Band for the "Tour 2000/3000".
- August 17: Solemn procession of San Rocco through the town streets, concert by the "Maestro Nastasi" band, and closing fireworks.
