San Rocco Festival / Borgo Festival

The 2025 San Rocco Festival confirmed Balsorano Vecchio as one of the most vibrant villages of the Marsica summer. In Piazza Piccolomini, at the foot of Castello Piccolomini, the San Rocco Festival Committee presented a highly attractive program.

The evening of August 14th featured a 9:30 PM concert by Export Medley in Italy, followed at 10:30 PM by a cabaret show from the Abruzzese comedian Nduccio. On August 16th, the saint's feast day, the grand finale featured a concert by I Cugini di Campagna, a historic Italian pop music group. Accompanying the evenings was the Borgo Festival, with food stalls offering traditional products and the atmosphere of a great village celebration.
