San Rocco Festival and Fair in Torrepaduli

The 2025 edition opened on August 9th at Largo San Rocco with "Medianus in Opera", an opera and musical show, continuing on the 11th with "Vuci nelle strittule" through the village streets, the 12th with "Feminae Maris in Concerto", and the 13th with the "Midsummer Opera Gala" by the Italian Opera Academy. On August 14th, the procession from Viale Asia and the theatrical performance "Ronda, o la danza del dubbio" set the stage for the big night.

August 15th, the highlight day, featured a concert by the Ruffano town band, the solemn procession of San Rocco, fireworks at 11:00 PM, and subsequently, the Notte delle Ronde with tambourines and pizzica pizzica until dawn. August 16th and 17th concluded with band concerts and new pizzica performances, confirming Torrepaduli as the guardian of one of the most vibrant folk traditions in Salento and all of Puglia.
