Edition 2025 — San Polo da Gustare

The fourteenth edition of San Polo da Gustare took place on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, 2025, for the first time spanning two days instead of one. Promoted by the Municipality of San Polo dei Cavalieri with the support of the Lazio Region and ARSIAL, the festival brought Piazza Guglielmo Marconi and the historic center to life with roasted chestnuts, cillitti pasta, olive oil, concerts, and free tours of the Orsini Cesi Borghese Castle.

The 2025 edition: the festival doubles up

In 2025, San Polo da Gustare reached the milestone of its fourteenth edition with a historic novelty: two days of celebration, Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, instead of the traditional single day. A doubling viewed by the organizers as a sign of rebirth for the local community.

Saturday opened with the variety show by Didy and Carlotta at 4:30 PM and, at 6:00 PM, with "The Art of Cillitti" at the former theater of the Orsini Cesi Castle: a tasting dedicated to the village's typical pasta, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil from the Ricci Alfredo farm. On Sunday, after the opening of the food stalls at 9:45 AM and Mass at the Church of San Nicola di Bari, the day continued with children's rides in Piazza Santa Liberata, the concert by the San Polo dei Cavalieri 1863 Band, roasted chestnut tastings in the afternoon, street artists, and a musical closing with Romina Grimani. Throughout the weekend, the Orsini Cesi Borghese Castle was open for free tours upon reservation, in limited groups, and village restaurants offered themed menus featuring local specialties.
