Edition 2025 — San Pietro ad Spoltinum

In 2025, the Selva Piana district of Mosciano Sant'Angelo once again celebrated the feast in honor of San Pietro ad Spoltinum, a late June patronal event linked to the ancient church of Borgo Spoltino. A traditional appointment for the Teramo hillside community, featuring religious celebrations and shared festive moments.

The 2025 edition of the San Pietro ad Spoltinum Festival renewed the devotion of the Selva Piana district community, in Borgo Spoltino of Mosciano Sant'Angelo (Teramo, Abruzzo), towards the patron saint, Saint Peter. The festival, traditionally held in late June near the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, took place around the historic Church of San Pietro ad Spoltinum, a building with medieval roots rebuilt in the 19th century.

As per tradition, the days combined liturgical moments with the conviviality of the hillside village, confirming the role of this event as an annual gathering point for the Mosciano community.
