San Michele Festival in Bukkuram

The 2025 edition of the San Michele Festival in Bukkuram took place on Monday, September 29, 2025, with a large turnout. The religious program, organized by the Forania Church of Pantelleria, began at 5:30 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, continued at 6:00 PM with the procession through the district streets, and concluded at 7:00 PM with the celebration of Holy Mass.

From 8:15 PM, the festive evening organized by the Associazione Barbacane began, featuring live music by Maestro Giuseppe Spata and lively dancing. On the culinary front, participants enjoyed pasta with sausage sauce, breadcrumbs, capers, and pine nuts, roasted sausage from the Maccotta Butchery, and desserts from Pasticceria Daniel and local residents. A successful event that managed to combine reflection, spirituality, and conviviality in the heart of the Pantescan district.
