San Matteo Festival (Pilastri Fair)

The Pilastri Fair 2025 was held from Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st in the hamlet of Pilastri, in Bondeno (Ferrara), continuing the tradition of the feast of the patron saint San Matteo.

Friday evening kicked off the festivities with the food stand and music, including concerts and DJ sets at the Dancing Arena. Saturday was dedicated to an "all you can eat" barbecue dinner (by reservation) and live music. Sunday featured the morning market on via Farini, an afternoon ceramics and "handmade" workshop, music from the 80s and 90s, and, to close, a concert by the Banda Rulli Frulli. The three days were framed by the solemn religious celebration in honor of Saint Matthew the Apostle, patron saint of Pilastri.
