San Matteo and Madonna Addolorata Fair

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the San Matteo and Madonna Addolorata Fair took place from September 19 to 21, 2025, in San Marco in Lamis (FG), Puglia. As per tradition, the patronal feast intertwined religious and civil dimensions over three days.

The calendar included holy masses, solemn processions, and moments of prayer in honor of Maria SS. Addolorata and Saint Matthew the Apostle, the city's co-patron, with particular devotion at the Sacred Convent of San Matteo. In the town center, the fair was held, featuring exhibition stalls, local food products, traditional handicrafts, and an area dedicated to Gargano gastronomy. The evenings offered folk music, performances by folkloric groups, shows, and concerts, as well as activities for families and children, concluding with a fireworks display.
