Edition 2025 — San Martino Truffle Festival
The 42nd edition, August 9, 2025
The forty-second San Martino Truffle Festival took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the village of San Martino, municipality of Petrella Salto (province of Rieti, Lazio), with stalls opening from 7:30 PM.
Organized as always by the Associazione Civica Pro San Martino with the participation of residents and those returning to the village for summer holidays, the event proposed its historic formula: tasting of dishes prepared with fresh products and a menu entirely based on truffles, the symbolic product of these mountains.
The evening ended with music and the Pantasima, the traditional figure that is danced among the crowd and links the festival to the ancient peasant festivals of the central Apennines. In 2025, the turnout was considerable, confirming the festival as one of the most popular summer events in the Cicolano region.
