San Martino Festival in Presa

The 2025 San Martino Festival in Presa was held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, starting at noon, in the hamlet of Presa in the municipality of Piedimonte Etneo, in the province of Catania.

Organized by the Il Borgo di Presa association together with the Pro Loco Presa, the day celebrated Etnean peasant cuisine with the absolute star, macco di fave, accompanied by chickpea and legume soups, homemade bread and Etna sausage, traditional desserts, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and volcanic wine.

The festival, included among the events of the Etnean autumn, attracted visitors from the entire region thanks to the authentic atmosphere of the village and the accompaniment of live music performances.
