Edition 2025 — San Martino Fair in Nereto

The 2025 edition of the San Martino Fair and Festival in Nereto took place from November 7th to 11th, featuring the 15th edition of the Festival. The historic center hosted the fair with over a hundred exhibitors, the feast of the patron saint, Saint Martin of Tours, and the Tacchino alla Neretese Festival in Piazza Cavour. Highlights included the historical re-enactment of the cutting of the cloak, the procession with the Bishop, roasted chestnut events, and the Solidarity Dinner.

San Martino Fair and Festival 2025 in Nereto

The 2025 edition took place from November 7th to 11th, celebrating the 15th edition of the Festival. On Friday, November 7th, after the presentation of the volume dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours in Sala Allende, the Festival kicked off with street food, live music, and DJ sets in Piazza Cavour. On Sunday, November 9th, Holy Mass was held in the church of San Martino, followed by the presentation of the cloak to the Roman soldier, the procession, and the re-enactment of the cutting of the cloak, with a roasted chestnut event in Piazza Partenope. On Monday, November 10th, and Tuesday, November 11th, the fair enlivened the streets of the center with over 100 exhibitors, roving performances, children's entertainment, and the Tacchino alla Neretese Festival, accompanied by roasted chestnuts and novello wine. The event, organized by the Municipality of Nereto with the Pro Loco, the San Martino Vescovo Parish, and local associations, concluded with the Solidarity Dinner.

2025 Program

  • Friday, November 7th - 5:00 PM: Presentation of the volume on Saint Martin of Tours in Sala Allende. 6:30 PM: Opening of the Festival and Street Food in Piazza Cavour with live music and DJ sets.
  • Sunday, November 9th - Holy Mass in the church of San Martino, presentation of the cloak to the Roman soldier, procession, and historical re-enactment of the cutting of the cloak; roasted chestnut event in Piazza Partenope.
  • Monday, November 10th and Tuesday, November 11th - Fair with over 100 exhibitors in the historic center, roving performances, children's entertainment, street food, and Tacchino alla Neretese Festival in Piazza Cavour. Monday evening: Solidarity Dinner.
