In 2025, the San Lucio Festival gathered devotees and hikers at San Lucio Pass, with mass in the saint's church, lunch at the huts, and traditional songs with accordion, confirming the annual mountain event of Val Cavargna.
The San Lucio Festival confirms itself year after year as a well-established event in Val Cavargna. At San Lucio Pass, in the territory of San Nazzaro Val Cavargna, the day of July 12th combined mass in the small church of the patron saint of cheesemakers, a convivial lunch at the huts, and an afternoon of traditional songs with the accordion, in a simple alpine festival atmosphere deeply rooted in alpine pasture culture.
