The 2025 edition in the San Lorenzo district

In the summer of 2025, the San Lorenzo open-air cinema found a home at the Giardino del Verano, at Piazzale del Verano, with a free festival that began on July 10 and continued until October 31. The initiative, organized by Municipality II of Rome in collaboration with Scomodo, Hollywood Roma, and Habicura, transformed over 3,000 square meters of open space into a neighborhood cultural hub.

The program proposed cinema as an archive of stories, accompanied by workshops, talks, live music, exhibitions, a study hall, deckchairs, a bicycle workshop, tournaments, parties, and a refreshment area. Meetings began at 9 PM and screenings at 9:30 PM, with free entry to all activities. An edition that confirmed the vocation of the Roman district, in the capital's Municipality II, to make collective viewing an occasion for meeting and participation.
