Edition 2025 — San Lorenzo at Alpe Seccio

In the summer of 2025, the San Lorenzo Festival at Alpe Seccio took place as it does every year in early August in Boccioleto, in the upper Valsesia valley. The community climbed to the 15th-century oratory at 1,388 meters for Holy Mass, the auction of offerings, and the traditional lunch under the marquee, during a day of alpine celebration accessible only on foot.

The 2025 edition of the San Lorenzo Festival at Alpe Seccio confirmed the long-standing tradition of this summer event in the Municipality of Boccioleto, in the province of Vercelli. In 2025, locals, vacationers, and hikers once again hiked up to Alpe Seccio to gather around the ancient Oratory of San Lorenzo.

The day followed the usual program curated by the Consorzio Terrieri Alpe Seccio: the celebration of Holy Mass, the auction of offerings to support the chapel, and the communal lunch under the marquee, in the simple and authentic atmosphere typical of Valsesia alpine festivals.
