San Grugnone Carnival 2025
The 106th edition of the San Grugnone Carnival was held in Conselice with its classic "tour of the colonies" parade. On Wednesday, March 5, at 12:30 PM, the carnival procession departed from the nursing home along via Selice to reach the hamlets of Borgo Serraglio, San Patrizio, and Chiesanuova, stopping at seven points among houses and bars, accompanied by the itinerant music of the Banda Vinaccia.
The return to Piazza Foresti was scheduled for 4:30 PM, with a celebration for schoolchildren among tosses of gifts, balloons, and candies. The edition, supported by a renewed organizing committee, featured new floats, including two dedicated to the rebirth of Conselice after the 2023 flood: one depicting the city submerged by water and the other symbolizing rebirth.
