San Giuseppe Minestrone Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Giuseppe Minestrone Festival took place on March 19, 2025, in Capaci with a large public turnout. The copper quarare were set up in several spots across the historic center, including Piazza Calogero Troia, Piazza Matrice, Piazzetta F. P. Perez, Via del Fante, and Via Mons. Siino.

The traditional minestrone and blessed bread rolls were distributed for free to a crowd of curious visitors of all ages. School groups, volunteers, and associations took part in the day, with the distribution of 'sfincette' and musical accompaniment by the Band Fried Chaps, in addition to afternoon music in Piazza A. Cataldo. Mayor Pietro Puccio highlighted the authentic sense of community of the festival. The evening concluded with the Saint's procession and the vampa at the Belvedere.
