How it went in 2025

The festivities took place in Rome from September 9 to 21, 2025, on the grounds of the Via dei Genieri parish. The novena prepared for the solemnity of September 18th, celebrated with a 6:30 PM mass presided over by Msgr. Renato Tarantelli Baccari, auxiliary bishop of the southern sector of the Diocese of Rome, followed by the procession with the statue and relics of San Giuseppe da Copertino.

From noon on Saturday, September 13th, to midnight on Sunday, September 21st, it was possible to receive a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions. The mass on Sunday, September 21st, at 10:00 AM marked the beginning of the new pastoral year and coincided with the taking of office of the new pastor, Father Giuseppe Russo, appointed on September 1, 2025.

On the secular side, the Festival Committee proposed the opening of stalls, volleyball and five-a-side football tournaments, the theatrical performances Il Viaggio del Girasole and Povero Piero, concerts and dance evenings, functional training, magic shows, fun runs for children and adults, a lottery draw, and the concluding fireworks display.
