San Giovanni – The Summer Festival

The 2025 edition of San Giovanni – The Summer Festival animated the historic center of Cesena from June 20 to 24, with evening events starting at 6:00 PM.

Among the performances were the theatrical show "Shhh...ine" and "The Aquatic Symphony" on the opening night, concerts by Kozmic Band, Black Coffee, and Jukebox 74 at the Serravalle Gardens, the pizzica by Trio Lunanoa, the choral flash mob by Rockin'1000 Flash Pink Choir in Piazza Guidazzi, and the show "San Giovanni: night of herbs and magic" in Piazza Albizzi, with the historical pageant of the Giostra di Cesena.

On June 24, the patron's feast day, the Bishop's Pontifical Mass was celebrated in the Cathedral, with the display of the illuminated Gradual from the Malatestiana Library. The symbols of tradition – lavender, garlic braids, and sugar whistles – were present, with a workshop for children at the covered market.
