Edition 2025 — City of Poetry

The ninth edition of San Giovanni in Marignano City of Poetry was held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Casa della Cultura in Piazza Silvagni. The edition was dedicated to Emily Dickinson, with the theme "Emily's Garden". Among the more than one hundred poems collected from middle school students, ten were awarded, in a ceremony enhanced by a two-voice reading dedicated to the American poetess.

Ninth Edition: Emily's Garden

The 2025 edition of the review was dedicated to Emily Dickinson, with the theme Emily's Garden. The school competition collected over one hundred poems from middle school students in the area, coordinated as usual by poet Luca Nicoletti; ten were selected for awards.

In addition to the awards, the afternoon at the Casa della Cultura offered a two-voice reading dedicated to the American author with Laura Corraducci and Massimiliano Bardotti. For 2025 too, the review opened the "Summer Outside the Municipality" calendar, confirming itself as the first major cultural event of the season in the village of Valconca.
