Edition 2025 — San Giovanni Festival
In 2025, the San Giovanni Festival of Montemarano took place on August 20th, 21st, and 22nd, confirming the usual calendar for the Irpinian town's patronal feast. The organization was managed by the San Giovanni Festival Committee, with the support of the Municipality of Montemarano and the parish.
The three days were part of a particularly busy August: the August 18th traditional market fair in the town center, the 41st Forest and Emigrant Festival at Bosco dei Morroni between August 17th and 18th, the 22nd edition of Youth Under the Stars in the Canali district on the 19th, and the Elderly Festival at the municipal amphitheater on the 23rd.
As per tradition, the festivities alternated between the religious aspect—novena, display of relics, solemn mass, and procession through the town streets—and the civic side, with brass band music, festive lighting, and fireworks closing the patron saint's evening. All events were free to attend.
