Edition 2025 — Saints Giovanni Festival in Gavignano
The 2025 Edition
The Saints Giovanni celebrations returned to Gavignano Sabino in late August 2025, confirming their place in the recurring events calendar of the Municipality of Forano, in the Sabina reatina region.
As per custom, the festival was spread over several evenings: in the late afternoon, entertainment for children; from the evening, the opening of food stalls in Piazza degli Eroi; and later in the evening, live music that attracted audiences from neighboring towns in the Tiber Valley. There was no shortage of liturgical moments dedicated to San Giovanni Battista and San Giovanni Bosco, with a procession accompanied by the local village band.
The event was held with free entry, following the formula that has made it one of the most popular local festivals in the area for years.
