San GiovANNI '50 Festival

The eleventh edition of the San GiovANNI '50 Festival was held over two weekends — August 29, 30, and 31, and September 5, 6, and 7, 2025 — at the sports center on Via Castelfranco in San Giovanni in Persiceto, promoted by the cultural association Pensieri in Swing in collaboration with the Municipality of Persiceto and the Pro Loco.

The six evenings featured live concerts and DJ sets with bands from the Italian and international swing and rock'n'roll scene, including The Latin Charmers, Laura B meets The Good Fellas, Di Maggio Bros feat. New Tones, Miss Joan & The Jivin Blues, Boogie Banausen, and Jumpin Up. On Saturday, August 30, the Pin Up Fashion Show with Miss election took place, while Sunday, August 31, was dedicated to aerial burlesque and fire performances. Each weekend, there was an exhibition of vintage cars with the Fiat 500 Club Italia and American Brother Us Car (Cadillacs, Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes). The program was completed by the Rock'n'roll Pool Party (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM), free dance lessons, the vintage market, and food stalls with traditional cuisine, fish, and piadine.
