Edition 2025 — Pentolaccia of San Giorgio
In 2025, the Carnival of San Giorgio Lucano once again brought the village together around the game of the Pentolaccia, with a parade of masks, a bonfire, and the Sagra delle Cocue, confirming a tradition that has endured for over four centuries.
The 2025 edition renewed the village's most characteristic Carnival ritual. Masks paraded through the streets of the historic center, while in the square, the Pentolaccia was played in its children's and adult versions, followed by the Carnival bonfire and the Sagra delle Cocue. An event organized by the Pro Loco that each year brings together residents and visitors in the typical community spirit of San Giorgio Lucano.
