Edition 2025 — San Giacomo Festival

In 2025, the San Giacomo district of Scerni celebrated its patron saint on Friday, July 25th, with the traditional patronal feast in honor of Saint James the Apostle. Religious celebrations took place around the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo and the Fonte Sant'Angelo area, accompanied by the essential food stalls, a funfair, and games for children. A day of celebration organized by the Pro Loco San Giacomo di Scerni APS, in the heart of the Abruzzo summer.

San Giacomo Festival 2025

On July 25th, 2025, the San Giacomo district of Scerni renewed its patronal feast in honor of Saint James the Apostle. As per tradition, the day combined the devotional dimension — with religious celebrations at the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo — with the joyful atmosphere of a village festival. In the Fonte Sant'Angelo area, there was no shortage of food stalls with typical Abruzzo dishes, a funfair, and games for children. The event, organized by the Pro Loco San Giacomo di Scerni APS, was one of the most cherished events of the summer in Scerni, in the province of Chieti.
