Edition 2025 — Balanzon Festival
The 2025 edition of the San Giacomo Balanzon Festival was held in Casaglia, a hamlet of the Municipality of Ferrara, over three weekends in July: from Friday, July 11th to Sunday, July 13th, from Friday, July 18th to Sunday, July 20th, and Saturday, July 26th, and Sunday, July 27th, 2025.
At the Parish Hall on via Giovanni Ranuzzi, the Pro Loco Casaglia offered typical regional dishes: balanzoni (green tortelloni with ragù and béchamel), cappellacci with ragù or butter and sage, maccheroncini, mixed cured meats with pinzini, mixed grill, side dishes, and desserts. The stand opened at 7:30 PM, with lunch service on Sundays.
