San Gennaro and Madonna Addolorata Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Gennaro and Madonna Addolorata Festival took place in Rocca San Giovanni, in the province of Chieti, as part of the Estate Roccolana calendar. As per tradition, the festival combined religious services in honor of San Gennaro and the Madonna Addolorata with moments of conviviality, involving families and visitors to the Abruzzo village. The event represented the conclusion of the long summer season of cultural, musical, and community events that bring the town on the Trabocchi Coast to life every year.
