San Genesio Festival – Patronal Feast of Fabbrico

The 2025 edition of the San Genesio Festival took place in Fabbrico (Reggio Emilia) on August 24th and 25th, reviving the traditional patron saint's feast.

On Saturday, August 24th, the Caplàs dinner enlivened Via Roma with a renewed menu (aperitif, appetizer, caplàs, and zuppa inglese, with a vegetarian option; 25 euros for adults, 13 euros for children aged 7-12, free for under 6s, by reservation). From 9:30 PM, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the concert by La President Band featured disco dance from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, with a free-entry bar area.

On Sunday, August 25th, the Holy Mass dedicated to the Patron Saint was celebrated at 10:30 AM; in the late afternoon, at the Oratory of San Genesio, the blessing of the Saint's statue was held, with music from the local orchestra and an aperitif dinner. The festival was made possible by Pro Loco Fabbrico, Gruppo Volontari per Fabbrico, ANSPI, and Pallavolo Fabbrico.
