Music for the Patron Saint
The San Fedele Concert is one of the musical events that accompany the patronal feast of Palazzolo sull'Oglio, in the province of Brescia. At the Casa della Musica, in Piazzale Dante Alighieri, the Corpo Musicale Città di Palazzolo celebrates the patron saint with an afternoon dedicated to the great band tradition.
Two Bands in Dialogue
The concert features an alternation between two ensembles: the Corpo Musicale Città di Palazzolo, conducted by Maestro Denis Salvini, and the Corpo Musicale Alfonso Raineri of Rodengo Saiano, conducted by Maestro Valentino Trotti. A meeting between realities of the Brescian territory that share a passion for band music, between classical repertoires and traditional pieces.
Towards Bannio
The event is part of the Road to Bannio project, a journey leading to the great band gathering in Bannio Anzino, a historic event for Italian bands. The San Fedele Concert thus becomes not only a moment of patronal celebration but also a stage in a broader musical journey, uniting the bands of the region in a shared experience of emotion and tradition.
