Edition 2025 — San Cristoforo Feast

Also in July 2025, Giuggianello renewed its devotion to its patron saint San Cristoforo with the traditional patronal feast. The streets of the center were lit up with illuminations, the band accompanied the procession of the saint's statue, and the community gathered for concerts, food stalls, and fireworks. The festivities concluded on July 26th with the Watermelon Festival and traditional Salento music.

The 2025 patronal feast

In July 2025, the village of Giuggianello (LE) celebrated San Cristoforo, its protector, with the traditional end-of-month festivities. The program combined moments of faith — Holy Masses and the procession of the saint's statue through the village streets — with popular celebrations.

The historic center was adorned with illuminations, featuring brass band concerts, musical performances in the square, and food stalls with the flavors of Salento. To close the festival, traditional fireworks were displayed. On July 26th, the festivities continued with the Watermelon Festival, featuring tastings and live music.
