Edition 2025 — San Cono Festival

In 2025, the San Cono Festival was celebrated on Sunday, May 11, the second Sunday of the month, with the Octave on May 18. Thousands of faithful and pilgrims followed the procession of the Simulacrum carried on shoulders through the town streets, featuring the traditional carriers' run, the collection of offerings, and the cry "Viva Diu e Santu Conu". The festival concluded, as is customary, with the night procession and fireworks.

The 2025 edition of the San Cono Festival, patron of the municipality of the same name in the province of Catania, reached its peak on Sunday, May 11, the second Sunday of the month. The town came alive with illuminations, brass bands, and market stalls, while the Simulacrum of the Saint — donated by San Cono emigrants in Venezuela — was carried on shoulders through the streets of the center with the characteristic carriers' run.

The following Sunday, May 18, the Octave repeated the same rites of devotion and popular celebration, confirming the community's strong bond with its patronal tradition, which has been alive and uninterrupted since 1866.
