Edition 2025 — San Cesario de Le Tridici Focare

On February 20, 2025, San Cesario di Lecce celebrated the second edition of the Patronage Feast. The day began with the 8:00 AM morning mass and culminated at 6:30 PM with the Eucharistic concelebration presided over by Coadjutor Archbishop Angelo Raffaele Panzetta, followed by the procession to Piazza Garibaldi and the lighting of the thirteen bonfires, with the tasting of homemade products by the L'ausapieti association.

2025 Edition

The second edition of the Patronage Feast of Saint Caesarius took place on February 20, 2025. The day began with the 8:00 AM morning mass and continued at 6:30 PM with a solemn Eucharistic concelebration presided over by Coadjutor Archbishop Angelo Raffaele Panzetta.

Afterward, the procession reached Piazza Garibaldi, where the thirteen fòcare were lit in the presence of civil and military authorities. The evening concluded with the tasting of typical homemade products offered by the L'ausapieti association, confirming the bond between devotion, historical memory, and community that characterizes this Salento tradition, which was revived in 2024 after seventeen years.
