Edition 2025 — San Cassiano Procession

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Bressanone celebrated the historic San Cassiano Procession. Bishop Ivo Muser presided over the solemn trilingual Holy Mass in the cathedral, followed by the procession of the diocesan patron saints' relics through the streets of the historic center, in a day that combined faith, music, and South Tyrolean tradition.

The 2025 edition of the San Cassiano Procession was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Bressanone. At 9:00 AM, Bishop Ivo Muser presided over the trilingual Holy Mass in the cathedral, animated by the deanery's choirs and wind instruments, and broadcast by Radio Sacra Famiglia-inBlu and Radio Grüne Welle.

Around 10:15 AM, the procession began with the relics of the diocesan patron saints Cassiano and Vigilio, carried in the parade alongside those of Saints Albuino, Ingenuino, and Blessed Artmanno. Parish communities, brass bands, and church associations with their banners took part in the procession; the rite concluded in Piazza Duomo with the final blessing.
