San Carlo Living Nativity – The Path of Faith

The 2025/2026 Edition

The San Carlo Living Nativity was performed in the village of Chiusa Sclafani (province of Palermo) from December 26, 2025, to January 4, 2026, with openings on December 26 and 29, 2025, and January 3 and 4, 2026, generally from late afternoon into the evening.

The performance, titled "The Path of Faith," featured over a hundred actors in period costumes who brought ancient trades, workshops, and traditional Nativity scenes to life. The route, animated by real animals, narrators, and the sweet sounds of bagpipes, concluded at the Bethlehem stable. Along the village streets, there were refreshment points with traditional local products, in an atmosphere of intimacy and participation by the entire community of San Carlo.
