Edition 2025 — San Carlo Borromeo
The 2025 patronal feast
In 2025, Acquarica del Capo celebrated San Carlo Borromeo on November 8th and 9th. The religious heart of the feast was the procession with the saint's relic, accompanied by a brass band through the streets of the historic center adorned with traditional illuminations, alongside solemn masses in the church dedicated to the patron saint.
Alongside the celebrations, the historic Market Fair was held, heir to the agricultural fair established in 1838, featuring stalls and local products. There were also tastings of typical Salento dishes, a dessert fair, and a charity market. The event concluded with the traditional fireworks display on the final evening.
