San Calogero Festival

The 2025 program

The festival began on Sunday, June 15, 2025, with the opening of the triduum in the Mother Church. On Monday the 16th, the blessing of the bread took place with visits to the sick, followed by the rosary and holy mass. On Tuesday, June 17, the eve of the feast, the "Tamburi della Quisquina" paraded through the streets of the town; after the evening mass, the nocturnal pilgrimage to the small chapel on Monte Finocchiara began, with the distribution of blessed bread, boiled potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, and ricotta. On Wednesday, June 18, the day of the feast, the dawn mass at the summit and the return procession preceded the solemn celebration and the evening procession through the streets of the town, concluded by fireworks.
