San Benedetto Soldato Festival (San Benedetto Fair)

The 2025 edition of the San Benedetto Fair took place in Antrodoco, in the province of Rieti, on the second Sunday of March. As per tradition, the village's historic center was filled with stalls and a lively market dedicated to local products and handicrafts, on the occasion of the feast of the patron saint San Benedetto Soldato.

The day combined, as usual, the religious dimension—with the veneration of the saint's body kept in the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta—with the festive and commercial aspect of the fair. Visitors found gastronomic specialties, sweets, and products from the Upper Velino Valley, in an atmosphere of conviviality that draws residents and visitors to the heart of the Rieti Apennines every year.
