Sammarzanese Carnival 2025
The 15th edition of the Sammarzanese Carnival was held in San Marzano di San Giuseppe (Taranto) between February 23 and Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with the theme "The Dream".
The protagonists of the evenings were the four allegorical floats created by the town's carnival groups: the Cherry group with the legendary seventies, the Colors group with a fantastic chocolate factory, the Art Attack group with the movie Oceania, and the Indisciplinate group. The parades took place in Piazza Michelangelo along Via Don Carlo, featuring entertainment, music, and DJs. The association's president, Silverio Piscopo, emphasized the community spirit of the event, defining it as "a big family" united by a passion for the Carnival.
