SammarcoFest – Festival of Music and Folk Traditions

SammarcoFest 2025 enlivened Via Grande Torino in San Marco in Lamis (FG) for an entire day on Saturday, June 21. The edition was dedicated to the memory of Teo Ciavarella, a nationally renowned musician originally from the town.

The program opened in the morning with the inauguration of the Italian Army info point, a soccer school for children, and a flash mob to the notes of the Inno di Mameli, continuing with the musical aperitif by the Power Drum Band and DJ Petercox, and a performance by the Vespa Club.

In the afternoon, there was space for children's entertainment, a dialect debate with the group La Puteca and folk music, the presentation of Angelo Riky Del Vecchio's book on the stories and legends of the Gargano, a silent disco, and photo exhibitions. In the evening, the Bersaglieri Fanfare, ShakeBeForBlues, Angelo De Maio, and Michele Merla took turns on stage, with concerts and DJ sets continuing until late at night. Admission was free.
