Salvi Prize

The third edition of the Salvi Prize was held on May 27, 2025, at the sports facilities in Valfornace (Macerata). Under the theme "Let's Tell Our Town: New Community Perspectives Through Traditional and Team Sports," the event involved hundreds of students from the Paoletti Comprehensive Institute, which brings together nursery, primary, and lower secondary schools from nine municipalities: Valfornace, Pieve Torina, Fiastra, Bolognola, Castelsantangelo sul Nera, Ussita, Visso, Monte Cavallo, and Muccia. The young people competed in 'ruzzola', tug-of-war, darts, skittles, 'piastrelle', archery, basketball, volleyball, and 'palla rilanciata'. The Institute's Choir, directed by Alessandro Pucci, performed the Italian and European anthems. The organization brought together the Municipality of Valfornace, the School Commission, the Paoletti Comprehensive Institute, the Pro Loco of Valfornace, and FIGeST, with the support of Monti Azzurri and Sapori di Campagna.
