Edition 2025 โ€” Saltarello Festival

In July 2025, the Saltarello Festival animated Giulianova with its signature blend of traditional Abruzzo music and dance: the Saltarello Folk Orchestra, masterclasses, tarantella workshops, and world music guests, in an event organized by the Interamnia World Music Association that paved the way for the 16th edition in 2026.

Saltarello Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Saltarello Festival confirmed Giulianova as a benchmark for roots music in Abruzzo. Once again, organized by the Interamnia World Music Association with artistic direction by Danilo Di Paolonicola, the event blended Abruzzo's folk traditions with major international world music.

The audience enjoyed performances by the Saltarello Folk Orchestra, participated in traditional music masterclasses and tarantella and saltarello workshops, and attended the evening concert on the promenade. This event in the town of Giulianova, in the province of Teramo, set the stage for the historic sixteenth edition of 2026 featuring Goran Bregoviฤ‡.
