Salso Summer Class & Festival

2025 Edition: "All'Opera!"

The XVI edition of the Salso Summer Class & Festival was held from July 4 to August 10, 2025 in Salsomaggiore Terme, with a program dedicated to the theme "All'Opera!" in homage to the operatic tradition of Giuseppe Verdi's homeland. The program brought together over two hundred musicians in more than twenty events, with concerts also held in the Cortile d'Onore of the Casa della Musica in Parma and in Fidenza.

Among the performers were Marco Pierobon on trumpet, Simonide Braconi on viola, and Andrea Coruzzi on accordion. The final concerts in the Sala delle Cariatidi of the Palazzo dei Congressi featured works by Vaughan Williams, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Bach, and Glazunov, performed by the Musici di Parma orchestra with soloists and students from the masterclasses. All events were free admission.
