Edition 2025 — Salita Pantani
2025 Edition
On May 1st, 2025, Biancavilla hosted the second edition of the Salita Pantani Time Trial, starting at 10:00 AM from the Vigne di Biancavilla (Beauty Garden restaurant) and concluding around noon. The race, covering the approximately 20 km of the longest climb of the Etna Cycling Park, was included in the FCI Italian Championship titled "Salita del Vulcano Etna 2025," attracting athletes from all over Italy.
The guest of honor was Claudio Chiappucci, "El Diablo," who was welcomed by Mayor Antonio Bonanno, City Council President Luigi D'Asero, and Sports Councilor Vincenzo Giardina. Numerous initiatives took place around the race: a photography exhibition dedicated to Chiappucci at the Circolo Castriota, a meeting with young cyclists in Piazza Roma, a mountain bike gymkhana, and a road safety education session, confirming the event's character as a celebration of sport involving the entire Etna region.

- 10:00 AM — Start of the first athlete from Vigne di Biancavilla (Beauty Garden restaurant)
- ~12:00 PM — Conclusion of the time trial on the 20 km Etna Cycling Park route
