SalinaDocFest – International Narrative Documentary Festival

The 19th edition of SalinaDocFest was held from July 15th to 20th, 2025, on the island of Salina, in the Aeolian Islands, with the theme "New Words / New Images", an invitation to rediscover the authenticity and depth of language in the digital age. It was the edition that confirmed the festival's move to mid-summer, to broaden horizons toward a younger and more international audience.

Between Malfa, Santa Marina Salina, and Lingua, the event honored great names of cinema such as Oliver Stone, Jeremy Irons, Sinéad Cusack, Lunetta Savino, Ascanio Celestini, and Agostino Ferrente. The National Competition awarded its main prizes: the Palumbo Editore Award to No More Trouble by Tommaso Romanelli, the Media Fenix Award for best editing to Fratelli di culla by Alessandro Piva, and the Signum Audience Award to Il cassetto segreto by Costanza Quatriglio.
