Salemi and Vita Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Salemi and Vita Carnival marked the return of the allegorical float parade to the two Belìce Valley municipalities after years of absence. The parades were held on Saturday, March 1 in Vita and Sunday, March 2 in Salemi, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The stars of the two days were the Disney-themed allegorical floats and the historic Giardinieri di Salemi mask. In Vita, the start and finish were in Piazza Pirandello, with a route along Via Pirandello, Viale Valle del Belìce, Via Tomasi di Lampedusa, Viale Europa, and Via Giovanni Verga. In Salemi, the parade started from Contrada Gessi and continued along Viale Alberto Favara, San Leonardo-Cappuccini, Piersanti Mattarella, Aldo Moro, and Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, arriving at Piazza XV Gennaio, near the Kim Center.

The festival was promoted by the administrations of both municipalities with the involvement of the associations H700, Giovani di Salemi, Liberty24, and Vita d'Amuri, recording a turnout that exceeded expectations.
