Edition 2025 — Salacca Festival

The 2025 edition of the Salacca Festival took place on Wednesday, March 5, Ash Wednesday, on the floodplains of the Arno river in the Oltrarno district of San Giovanni Valdarno. Food stalls dedicated to the salacca, sweets with the traditional candied apple, activities for children, and a performance by the Municipal Concert Band enlivened the day.

The 2025 Salacca Festival was celebrated on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, on Ash Wednesday, on the floodplains of the Arno river in the Oltrarno district of San Giovanni Valdarno (AR).

Organized by the local Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality, the event featured its most traditional elements: food stalls dedicated to the salacca, sweet stalls with the famous candied apple, activities for children, and, at 4:15 PM, the performance of the Municipal Concert Band. A day that confirmed the strong bond between the Oltrarno community and its oldest festival.
