Edition 2025 — Saints Erasmus and Marcian
The 2025 edition of Gaeta's patronal feast opened on May 31 with the Saints' Fair on Via Annunziata and the Sea Palio, the rowing competition that evokes the city's maritime vocation. On the evening of June 1st, Molo Santa Maria hosted a performance by the Manhattan Swing Band and a concert by Gemelli Diversi, both with free admission.
June 2nd marked the heart of the festival: the solemn Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral Basilica at 5:30 PM, celebrated by Archbishop Luigi Vari, and at 6:30 PM, the procession of the reliquary busts through the main city streets. In the evening, the lyrical-symphonic concert by the "Giuseppe Chielli" Band of Noci, on the steps of the Santissima Annunziata Sanctuary, preceded the grand land-and-sea fireworks display launched from the cliffs of Punta Stendardo, the most scenic moment of the entire event.
