Edition 2025 — Saint Zita Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Zita Festival in Monsagrati Alto celebrated the Lucca saint in her birthplace with the usual blend of faith and popular tradition. From the Thursday mass to the Vespers on Sunday, April 27th, the village experienced days of celebration featuring a procession, an artisan market in Piazza della Pieve, children's entertainment, and brass band music.

In 2025, the Saint Zita Festival in Monsagrati Alto (Pescaglia, LU) was held over the weekend around April 27th, the day commemorating the saint. Religious celebrations began with the Thursday mass at 6:00 PM and concluded with Vespers on Sunday at 6:00 PM.

The main day, Sunday, April 27th, featured an artisan market in Piazza della Pieve from 11:00 AM, children's entertainment in the afternoon, and, following the holy mass, a brass band concert. The event, organized by the ASD Barbagianni with the patronage of the Municipality of Pescaglia, confirmed the community's strong bond with its saint, who was born in Monsagrati in 1218.
