Edition 2025 — Saint Vitus Festival of Condrò
The 2025 edition of the Saint Vitus Martyr Festival confirmed the vitality of one of the most deeply felt traditions of the Peloritani village of Condrò, in the province of Messina. After the procession of the arm relic in June, the July patronal feast reached its climax with the Dance of Saint Vitus.
The bearers, in blue jerseys and red sashes, guided the statue through the village streets with the characteristic "four steps forward and three back" pace, leading to the long final dance in front of the Mother Church, in Piazza Umberto I. Eucharistic celebrations, band concerts, and the fireworks display completed the festivities, experienced by the community with great participation.
